At Every Detail, we recently had the opportunity to work on a Ford F-350 that needed more than just a wash, it needed a full transformation. The paint had lost its depth, and light scratches and swirl marks dulled what should have been a bold, high-gloss finish. That’s where our 2-step paint correction and Year 3 ceramic coating came in.
Step 1: Correcting the Paint
Paint correction is about more than appearances, it's about restoring the integrity of your vehicle’s clear coat. On this F-350, we used a two-step process to carefully remove surface imperfections like oxidation, water spots, and swirl marks. The result was a clean, smooth finish that brought out the depth and true color of the paint.
Step 2: Protecting It with a Ceramic Coating
After the correction, we sealed in the shine with our Year 3 ceramic coating. This coating forms a durable, protective layer over the paint, providing:
Long-term UV protection
Resistance to dirt, water, and chemical contaminants
Easier cleaning and reduced maintenance
Gloss that truly lasts
In Montana’s climate, where your vehicle faces snow, sun, gravel, and rain,a ceramic coating isn’t just a luxury, it’s a smart investment.
Why It Matters for Larger Vehicles
Trucks like the F-350 are workhorses, but that doesn’t mean they have to look worn out. This detail brought new life to the truck’s appearance and ensured the finish will stay protected for years to come. Whether you use your truck for work or recreation, keeping it in top condition helps preserve its value and makes every drive feel a little better.
